Derek Steyer

My name is Derek Steyer and I am an Assistant News Director and anchor/reporter for WFMJ-TV in Youngstown. I anchor 21 News at 6 and 11 Monday through Friday and have been with the station since 2013.   

I have 25 years of journalism experience, working as an anchor/reporter at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas and at WSFA-TV in Montgomery, Alabama before joining WFMJ-TV. I've had the honor to interview some of the biggest newsmakers and cover the biggest sporting and news events all across the country.
